Player for panoramas in PPG 11

For every panorama there must be a unique base name, the characters before the suffix. All versions of a panorama must have a identical base name and be sorted in the appropriate folders. Also the Zoomify folder and krpano multiresolution folder must be named with this base name.
Testmode	For test purpose the test mode can be switched on on top in the respective layout file layouts/layout [No.].php. A link row appears at top of the page in which all player are directly selectable. Automatik	When a panorama page is loaded in the browser, a player is selected automatically. I.e. it is checked on every page load whether the plug-in is installed for the selected player. The user can get an overview of the installed plug-ins on the help page. Manual player selection	The user can select between the installed players in link tabs. This tab can be activated and deactivated. 	Build in player:
Deval	Works with Quicktime-files .mov. Only for MS Windows, not for Mac. The fullscreen button is included in the player itself. The Quicktime plugin is ot necessary. Only few user have this player installed. It offers a good quality and performace.	Initial pan, tild and zoom are saved within the panorama. Only .mov-Datei, no other files necessary.
Quicktime	Works with Quicktime-files .mov. Wide spreaded, very stable. very good performance an excellent quality.	Initial pan, tild and zoom are saved within the panorama. Only .mov-Datei, no other files necessary.
Quicktime Fullscreen	There is a separated link to a Quicktime fullscreen version of the panorama, which is a extra file on a special page.	Initial pan, tild and zoom are saved within the panorama. Only .mov-Datei, no other files necessary.
Shockwave Spi-V	Uses equirectangular JPG files. Greift auf equirectangulare Panoramen im Format .jpg zu. Average spreaded. Very good performance an good quality.	Initial pan, tild and zoom can be read out of the related Quicktime-file. If there is no appropriate Quicktime-file, initial pan and tilt is set to 0. Flash Panorama Player.	The gallery is configured by default to use the krpano-player. To switch to the Flash Panorama Player(FPP2): Switch the Flash Player to Flashpp2 in inc/01-config Switch folder for Flash panoramas to Quicktime-folder, in inc/01-config. FPP2 is configured to work with Quicktime-Files There are a lot of files which belong to FPP2. The player files are not included in PPG11, they are commercial. The.mov-files have to be compressed with JPG compression. Other compressors like Sorensen 3 are not recognized The player can be configured in the file player/cubeqtvr.xml. Flash krpano player	krpanois configured as a Standard-Flash player in the gallery. The quality is comparable with FlashPanorama player. the performance a little bit better. krpano is the only player which offers the possibility to display multi resolution panoramas. The player file is the file krpano.swf. Distributed with the gallery is an only locally working demo file. The licence version must be bought for 36 Euros. The configuration of the player can be changed in the file krpano.xml.php. Flash krpano Multiresolution	If there is a appropriate named subfolder within krpano folder, the page is toggled to multiresolution when called. krpano multiresolution is configured for 4 zoom levels by default: 10240x5120 Pixel 50 Tiles1024x1024 JPG in 5 rows 6144x3072 Pixel 18 Tiles 1024x1024 JPG in 3 rows 4096x2048 Pixel 8 Tiles 1024x1024 JPG in 2 rows 2048x1024 Pixel 2 Tiles 1024x1024 JPG in 1 row It´s easy to expand multiresolution with a further zoom level. For 20480 x10240 add a further line to the xml-file krpano.xml, similar to the existing 4 definition-lines. Flash Pure Player	The Pure Starter Tool Kit of the company Immervision (35 dollars) produces ivp files, with are diplayed by the player file player / PurePlayer.swf. It offers only basic quality, worse than krpano and FPP2. Initial settings can be set within Pure Starter Tool Kit.
Flash Pano2VR	Die SWF-Dateien, vom Konverter Pano2VR erzeugt, enthalten einen eigenen Player, keine weitere Datei ist notwendig. Das Programm kostet 70 Euro und kann viele Panoramakonvertierungen vornehmen.. Da ich das Programm nicht besitze, kann ich keine weiteren Informationen geben, z.B. zum Fullscreen-Modus. Die Qualität liegt IMHO unter der von krpano und FPP2. Weitere Informationen auf der Pano2VR-Seite. The SWF files, generated by the converter software Pano2VR , contain their own player, no other file is necessary. The quality lies IMHO under from krpano and FPP2. Java Pure Player	The free Java-player "Pure Player" of the company Immervision displays equirectangular JPG in good quality and excellent performance. It offers an excellent fullscreen mode. Equirectangular flat	There is a link to the equirectangular version of the panorama "Flat". It displays the appropriete file within the "equirectangular"-folder.	The image is scaled to the player width. So the panorama file can be much larger.
Equirectangular fullscreen	In mode "flat" the link "fullscreen" opens a fullscreen window with a fullscreen version of the flat panorama.	Set the equirectangular fullscreen-folder in inc/01-config.inc.php: / Other folder ... $equifullscreenordner="panos/sortiert"; // for flat-fullscreen-display
Zoomify	If there is a folder named with the base name of the panorama within the Zoomify-folder, the Zoomify-version of the panorama is displayed in flat-mode. The link on the Flat-tab changes to "Zoomify"	Zoomify-files can be created with Photoshop via file/export/Zoomify. Rename the generated folder to the panorama base name and put it in the "Zoomify"-folder within PPG11 The free tool Zoomify RZ can also produce a zoomify-version of a panorama. Download it from the Zoomify Webpage.
Zoomify Fullscreen	When in Zoomify-Mode, a klick on "Fullscreen" opens the Zoomify-panorama in a new fullscreen window.
